> In March 2020 – as COVID came to India, Meemansa team at Mumbai immediately started to use their resources to produce mask for their own safety

> This extended to providing livelihood to workers who were in the factory and keep them mentally occupied (avoiding depression), and also the entire team of Meemansa gainfully busy in producing masks and with the help of NGOs and Missions arranging delivery of masks to underprivileged, and also providing a continuous supply of masks at affordable rates using their available fabrics.

> In April 2020, Meemansa took another step and contacted IIT Mumbai, and collaborated with IITB and Rhino Machines to make samples, test, and in 30 days build a production facility to scale up and deliver the Self Disinfecting Duraprot technology to counter the COVID Virus and Bacteria. It has diverted its core production resources to meet the social needs of the society and take the Indian Origin technology to the masses.
